Lots of Drama
Posted 15 years agoWell...boy has it been hectic here. Filled with good and frustrating news all around.
First, internet has been EVIL. Oh so so mean. I registered for next semester and it took me from 8 am to 2 pm to get it working and finished. The thing kept dropping the link, or I had 3 links of different classes running at the same time (which mind you would not let me pull them over from one to the other). Oh, it was a mess and a pain. Only reason it irked me most was because I called the internet compant 5 days prior to it to resolve this issue. And they are hopeless....
But, with that one over a better thing came along. I was told that yesterday my cousin gave birth to a baby boy! Hurray!!!! I'm a second uncle. I think that's neat and I can't wait to see pictures. But, of course, leave it to Uncle Jim to forget the one tiny piece of crucial information about it. Can you guess? Huh? Huh?
The answer...he forgot to text us the baby's NAME! *eyeroll* Well, that's Jim for ya. Anyways, I know Jo (my cousin) is doing fine and is recovering in the hospital. She had a C section, don't ya know. Still, I can only wish them the best since they are thousands of miles away in England. Hehe
Well, I hope to see "whateverhisnameis" soon. Might get to see him next summer, who knows. Should be interesting. OH! And on another good/odd note, I got into an upper division Illustration class. It wouldn't let me register for a 101 2D design...but I can get into a 363 Illustration....ok I'll go with it. I liked illustration better then design anyways! XP
But, that's life for ya. Sorry for being absent here. It's been the rolling summer and it's coming to its peek. Soon, Blizzcon will hit and I get to go. Should be fun fun fun. ^_^
Anyways, hope the rest is well and toodles till then.

Uploading Time!
Posted 15 years agoAlright, after the internet has had its "drop in" "drop out" fun with me....grrr.....I have a connection now to get some of these sketches up and going! ^_^
Those of you who asked for requests, I'm sure you will spot them there. If not, that means I am still working on it...or I have forgotten. If I did, I am soooooo sorry. Give me a friendly poke here and there should you feel the need. The ones I have currently in the works, and are not posted yet, are from:
starfox64
Love-Hate
LucienLupus
Gatekat
Yiffdakat
Those up above, I'll keep working, I promise. All sketches will be up before I start photoshopping. Scouts honor. =3

Vacation...sort of.
Posted 15 years agoFigured I should put a little note here. I'm going on a trip with me mum to Sacramento to go to a business convention. It's for 3 days, and we leave Monday to have it go from Tuesday-Thursday...and we fly back the same day.
BUT, that of course means I won't be able to see much here or there. I don't know if I'll even get computer access. XD
Still, I'll be there...and like at college...I'll be doodling from time to time during lectures. I mean, come on, who doesn't? Hehe, well, so as that being the case, if you people have any images that strike your mind that I could do between times on the plane, in the hotel room, or during the lectures, let me know. =)
I'll be on and off here from time to time, and I won't be leaving till Monday late afternoon. So I'll be looking. And, on a last note, take it easy! ^_^

Need some help!
Posted 15 years agoAlright, any and all who are reading this...I need to find someone, or a few someones who can help me complete a drawing. I'm not going to give away anything as to what the image is, but it is clean in depiction...though its message can suggest otherwise. X3
But, I need a few things from you first:
1.) A Fursona or character you have. If you want to add a friend in there, then that works fine with me as long as you have their consent to be depicted and they fit in the prior sentence. XD (Give me physical details if you can, mainly on features that are unique to the person.)
2.) Pick a musical instrument you play or wish you did play...or perhaps your character plays it...anywho, instrument is a must! ^_^
3.) If you have specific wants or wishes for your character to act/behave/react to "supposed" situations, let me know.
4.) It isn't a difficult task to make things "mature" or "adult" related. If you want me to make another duplicate image with your person in a more "naked" state, let me know and see what I can do.
5.) Get to me soon...please! =D

Dreamers Dream
Posted 15 years agoWell, I had a bit of an interesting dream last night. I figure, might as well commit it to memory, and what better way then by using the journal, eh? Yes, I'm a genius. XD
Anyways, it basically started out at my "cousin's" house, but it was in Italy...or some place similar to it. The place was a maze of narrow cobble streets, and then the archways over the passes with many wooden windows and shutters. And of course the natural laundry hanging from wires. But, the odd thing was a strange litte, but tall, bus in front.
It was probably about the side of a voltswagon bug-car in length, but it was a five decker of a thing. The whole thing was packed with students, and the stability of the bus was so unstable that it was tottering and "boinging" back and forth. It was like each deck was a seperate layer, and that they all connected in sliding forms. Almost as it you could see the bus layers all slidding backwards and down in a gliding motion to form a normal looking bus.
But, the bus is not important. Oddly, there was some comotion in the house, and I went exploring. The entire residents, from aunts to uncles, cousins and sibling gathering clothing and suit cases. It was a "trip" planning of some sort. And seconds later we were out and about to the odd little tall bus. My "generation" of the family climbed to the top...somehow. Basically it was all of my cousins. We have, in the "kid" generation a total of 4 boys and 3 girls. Now, the three girls got to be on top. There was room left, but the bus went on without us. The driver was laughing at me and the boys that were left behind. I don't know why, but that pissed me to no end.
So we ran after it. The thing was fast on the streets, and heading easily around the bends and twists. Finally it left the buildings and roads and hit the countryside. The country was very hilly, steep and wet. It was going to rain, and it eventually did. We saw the bus continue on in its bobbing manner, and I had had enough. I went on all fours and just ran into the grasses off to the side. Planning on cutting it off I guess. I really had no idea why I was doing it in the first place.
The sensation was chaotic at first. All I saw were brambles, weed, sticks, puddles, and grass. Dirt was everywhere and it soon became thick mud. But it didn't slow me down one bit. I knew instinctively that my cousins were behind me, as we raced to cut the stupid bus off. The more I ran, the more I could control my vision and see what I was doing. It was wierd being lower to the ground, but I paid it no mind. As we hurried along, we finally cut off the bus, sending it to a halt as the bus driver stared at us. Terrified, bewildered and curious...along with all the passengers. I kept on all fours, and spat something out of my mouth towards them. It looked scarlet in color, deep and dark with brown. It was like a roll of yarn in my mouth...but it didn't look like it when it hit the ground. I don't know what it was...except something that resembled like the size of a sock, but bulky.
I wanted to say something, but I knew that what I did conveyed what needed to be said. And as to what that was...I have no idea. All I remember after that was walking beside the bus, looking up once more at my sister and girl cousins, before running past them and off into the woods. I could hear my other cousins behind me, as we all ran into the pouring night. The air smelt so nice. Nothing smells better unless its lingering in damp air. I don't know why, but all aromas and scents seem to be accented in the damp weather...for me at least. I can pick up a fast food place certainly within five blocks on a rainy day from the food's aroma.
And then it faded to and end...and I woke up to my phone ringing. I'm not sure if it was ringing before I woke, or just when I was about to. Still, it sadly ended. Though, I am glad that I will have this here to remember it by. I've never recalled a dream like it before. And I'm sure I wouldn't mind it again.

Good Times
Posted 15 years agoIt's been a fun evening. Been out and about with my friends: Samantha, Karina and Anthony. Got to make shaved ice and Sam's house, then we went out to dinner before hitting the movies. We say "Year One". I must admit, it was actually WAY funnier then I expected. It had some really Really REALLY good scenes. I'd recommend it, most definetaly.
I really enjoy the good company of friends. It's something I will hardly ever grow tired of. Even if I just sit back and watch or listen, I'm happy. I'm no attention whore, but I enjoy just the atmosphere of others. If I could have a perfect party or social event to be a part of, it would consist of me enjoying good company, good talk, and a guy's shoulder/chest/body to nuzzle and lean on while I spent time there with him.
Just a small fact for you all, I don't like alcohol. I don't like its smell, honestly. Such a bad scent when it comes near my face. And beer breath...oh dear god, it's SO BAD. I'm sure you drinkers out there know how bad someone can be...drunk...in your face...with bad beer breath. Gah! It's so aweful. I enjoy being around the "happy" drinkers/drunks, for sure. But, we'll just keep the drinking aside from me. And I always carry some gum for people to cover it up. (They can have bad breath after meals too.)

Introductions
Posted 15 years agoWell, I figured I'd share a few fun facts about myself. I'll start with the beginning.
When I was born, I refused to eat. Picky eater from the start I say, but they finally forced me to live on and take it like a man...well sort of.
In preschool and onward, my mom was always called by the caretakers and sending me off to the doctor. You see, I had an average temperature of 101 degrees. And, under their rules, I had to go get checked. Became good friends with Doctor Joe. Certainly not an unhealthy friendship. But, it was always: "Hello Dr. Joe." "High temperature again?" "Afraid so." "Let's see...he's fine. Here's your note." "Thank you Dr. Joe." Such a hassle...but we finally worked things out with the teachers.
So, just a litte extra, I'm always very warm. I can get my hands to be toasty hot on cold days and warm my friends up, should they need it. Works great for massages too. I think that's what gives me the upper hand when I'm requested for one here and there. But, I digress.
I grew up with my dad in soccer...and everything else with my mum. She's British, and I have picked up on her accent at times, and I've been brought up with proper behavior towards others. It's a pain in the arse, sometimes. Hard to break the habit, even to people I detest.
I've always been fascinated with art. Growing up, every year my family went to Europe, and always stopping in England to meet up with family. When your dad has lots of accumulated miles from business trips...well, it helps alot. My mum always took us to historical sites and we saw everything there was and is to see. I've grown with a love of history because of my dear old mum.
I have a sister, who tended to be enemy number 1 when I was young. But now, we live together in our own house. And we've grown SO much closer together. I couldn't ask for a better sister.
And in the more current times, I'm in college and working on a business degree and art degree. I'm so thankful for my stress relieving art classes. But, still working at it, and soon to be a graduate. We'll see what happens next.
