I’m halfway through this and feeling truth/peace from the Spirit! ❤
It's so refreshing listening to these live episodes, Ash 🙏 especially with all the anti-mormon podcasts coming out of Utah constantly it's annoying and disheartening sometimes 😑 I love his point about the importance of 'connection' through faith in the Lord who knows what we need in our lives. To quote him directly, "This is a long-term investment," sent chills down my spine. Thank you for sharing! I appreciate you all 💙🎉
The quote at the beginning is from Thomas Aquinas: "To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary; to one without faith, no explanation is possible"
I love my family and know miracles can happen. I also know God doesn't deny us our agency. I wish I had been able to attend this convention.
we will be doing these more regularly moving forward - keep an eye out for more info soon!!!
Thank you for sharing! You have lifted my heart today!
So many gospel truths taught through this amazing testimony of Jesus Christ and His ability to help you overcome those challenges and doubts. And of acting in faith without knowing what was to come! Thank you!
Oops! Punched the wrong button again. I’ll start again. The quote by Thomas Aquinas was very astute. I agree with that quote, which originated sooooo very long ago. There is no way that I can convince anyone to believe in anything about the gospel of Jesus Christ if they don’t have faith. Yet I have certainly tried. Faith is the foundation for truth. It is the First Principle of the Gospel. You can’t just give someone faith. She/He must first show it themself. Thanks for sharing your story. You give me hope for my children who have turned away from the Church.
Thank you for the hope for my children who are off the path given in this presentation.
This is a powerful presentation. I can relate to his experience. I am grateful I stayed and exercised faith and patience until I understood Joseph Smith and polygamy. Only God can take away the doubt and settle my issues with church history.
This is amazing. Glad that this story exists.
Always nice to hear some optimism for our brothers and sisters who are on different paths
Thank you very much for sharing!
So, so good! Thank you for sharing and giving me hope. 💛💛
Thanks for sharing from the event
That tithing story is wild and I love it
❤
I love your podcast
I have heard many in his place describe their crisis as an immovable mountain. I love Matthew 17:20.. one of my faves
Thank you 🙏
Fantastic talk. I found so many parallels to my own story.
So good!
WONDERFUL!❤
So one of the comments said that the quote at the start was from Thomas Aquila’s.
1st!
Can anyone tell me how to attend these events? I live in St. George and would like to go if I can
keep an eye on our social channels, our YT channel, and our website - we'll be announcing more of these events in the future!!! next one will be in the Fall 2025 in the SLC area
Mosiah 12:27 (Abinadi addressing the priests of Noah)
What do you say to people who join a bible believing Christian church after encountering the problematic areas with Joseph and the temple? Have they too lost their faith?
My goal in conversion is to work diligently to bring people to Christ, terrestrial level. If I can bring them the whole way, to church membership, that would be wonderful. Good people will be here for the millennium. Conversion may be necessary then in the next life.
Love that painting of Christ on the wall. Does anybody know who the artist is?
believe it or not, that is an AI generated image of Christ that we just LOVED. We are going to have prints of it available for purchase on our merch page in the next few weeks
Oh, cool. That's the exact style I have had in mind for a project that I have been working on but couldn't find something like it.
I was hoping to find the artist to see if they had anything in a similar style of Christ beckoning in a, "follow me" sort of way. Maybe I'll have to try AI again. I had tried last year, but the source I was using said it couldn't generate images of religious figures like Christ.
From the title, “no explanation will ever do.” Isn’t this obvious? When dealing with transcendental or subjective matters there is no point in churning over ideas about which there is not joint understanding or rather the understanding which is shared in common. Beyond that the true believer could point out how the “faithless” (prejudicial language in this context) person has behavior that is inconsistent with the matters in which he does have faith.
